High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

This thing doesn't work as advertised at all..super buggy. (1) It randomly works - and then doesn't work at all, or reverts to a different setting as you mouse over parts of the window. (2) You have to manually turn it on every time you open a new tab, even after setting your desired default. (3) It totally DOES mess with images, despite it being explicitly advertised that it doesn't. It's more annoying than it's worth. Just dim your screen. And yes my Chrome is up to date.

love it
it is great
When I click on the icon in the toolbar I only get the graphics of the menu layout. So I get a large bar and then about 5 bullets and then two more bars. None of this has any text and the extension isn't usable when I try to click just the outlines. Something conflicting?
Не вырезает мне глаза, very cool
Been having trouble with my eyes lately and This helps a lot.
It used to be really good. Lately (maybe since last update?) not so much. Now on some sites when I click around on the page with high contrast enabled, the page reverts back to standard contrast (or sometimes only part of the page does). I'm on Windows 10 if that helps any.
Too much contrast!! Hard to delete also.
¿por que no funciona en google maps?
