Simply the best
I could never find an ad blocker that works until I came across Ublock Lite. It has been amazing I wish could rate it 10000000/10!!!!!
First, Google's restriction of content blockers shows how tone deaf they are to security. Malvertising has become even worse, and what do they do? Restrict extensions that could protect people from scams, malware, and unlawful data harvesting. Something that's genuinely sad, is that Google will demonetize videos for the presence of specific YouTube banner ads. If an ad violates YouTube's community guidelines, it shouldn't be there in the first place. With that rant out of the way, let's talk about this extension. Yes, it is not as feature rich as the standard uBlock Origin; however, given the restrictions of manifest v3, it does a pretty good job, and is the ad blocker I'm currently testing in chrome. Something else that I really appreciate about this, as well as other similar extensions, is that they make navigating websites with VoiceOver easier since the number of elements to traverse is much lower overall. I HIGHLY recommend uBlock Origin Lite if you find yourself in the position where you're forced to use manifest v3 extensions only. I want to clarify that I use Firefox for most of my web browsing, but there are still several instances where I use chrome. Once manifest v3 compliance becomes strictly enforced, I will either remove chrome from my computer, or ONLY use it whenever I find myself on a page the strictly requires chrome to function correctly. It's honestly sad, as I really liked chrome, and have been using it since its initial beta back in 2008, but now, I can't help, but see chrome as the modern day Internet Explorer.
Was denn nun?
Considering the changes done to Chrome MV3, uBlock works perfectly well. To those complaining, before you post, please understand that Google severely limited the scope of ad blockers under MV3. If you like uBlock, go to Raymond's site and read his well written explanation. Not much else can be done about it. Google thrives on ads, that this did not happen sooner is the real surprise. If the new breed of ad blockers do not satisfy your needs, you need to seriously consider changing browsers. There are many, just make sure it is trusted and, preferably, outside the Chromium family.
please proved original uBlock Origin, as a sidelode, insted of this. original uBlock Origin is very good
Seem to be blocking YouTube ads for me. Some people say otherwise. Let's see
