Brilliant new tab page, one of the best out there, definitely. There are several problems though: There is an annoying page action (icon) in the url bar of every single web page you open. I really wish I could disable this, as it adds nothing useful to the extension's overall functionality. The search suggestions stop updating after the first space is entered, and the implementation of custom search engines is not very expansive (search engines using characters other than spaces to separate words in their urls will not work.) Also, I have hierarchical bookmarks, with folders inside of folders, and this extension's bookmark navigator doesn't present this properly; instead, all the folders are strewn about on one level, becoming a cluttered, disorganised mess.
I am truly in love with the interface of this APP. The design feels clean & modern, this is exactly what I was looking for when I was trying out different Tab extensions for Chrome. Most tab extensions go overboard & get tacky with their designs, not this one! I've set animations on & every time I open a new tab, I just love the beautiful synchronization of all elements on the page. Everything is visually pleasant & serene, kudos to the developer/designer concerned who very obviously has great eye & taste for detail. I am literally enjoying & applauding the user experience this APP so thoughtfully provides. FYI: Yes, you can change the background image by clicking on the bottom-right corner of your screen. The settings pretty much gives you a lot of freedom to modify the look of certain elements, & add/delete shortcuts. P.S. I love how the bookmarks shortcut works! It makes my bookmarks so much more accessible & easier to browse through this way.
