When you install Scholar Reader, PDFs on all sites will have a new look in Chrome. To make this happen, Chrome will ask for permissions to read and change data on all sites. Scholar Reader makes no changes other than the presentation of PDFs.
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
• Read faster with the AI outline. Get a quick overview and click on interesting bullets to jump within the paper.
• Highlight and comment on PDFs. Highlights are saved to your Scholar library.
• Make it right for your eyes with light, dark, and night modes.
• Copy and paste common citation formats without leaving the paper.

It would be nice to add highlighter or note functions and add support for various languages to the AI overview.
Nice extension! I've been using Adobe's pdf extension for years, but this AI outline feature sounded great for my needs. I had to manually turn off my Adobe extension after install per the instructions, but overall this is working great for my school needs. I still skim documents, but to get an idea if the document is even going to cover a key topic or interesting point, the AI outline function is awesome for that! Definitely recommend trying it out.
Google is really a trash producer company now. An introduction video without any audio? Awesome!
Es buena la idea pero falta desarrollo, hay muchas funcionalidades que se podrían aplicar para mejorarlo.
Muy buena app, te crea un índice del documento y puedes ir directamente al apartado que necesitas si ya sabes a lo que vas. También extrae la bibliografía que te interesa y puedes acceder a esta dentro del mismo texto sin tener que ir hasta la bibliografía. Aunque, sería bueno aumenten herramientas de un lector de PDFs como el subrayado, resaltador y aumentar comentarios, eso mejoraría muchísimo la extensión.
Nice interface, but CORS responses are getting blocked on Brave, so I can't use half the features on the right-side menu.
For researchers, it might be a must-have! I think further additions and enhancements might make this tool even more precious.
I've used several PDFs and can't get the AI reader to work at all. I don't even get an error message.
