Very useful extension, this company makes great tools to upgrade your Gmail experience. Easy to use after watching the instructional video. I wish there were more customization options, like choosing text size and space between labels. My current configuration takes up two lines which looks a little cluttered.
Tab bar color bugged and does not change with theme anymore, what to do?
Love, and I mean love this extension. Drowning in emails, sometimes couldn't click on the chosen email because they were coming in so fast. Hundreds of emails all day long. Tabs allows structure and makes one understand the labeling and filtering better that Gmail has to offer. At least my employees aren't a total slave to emails now and have it under control. Can't stress enough how this increases productivity.
Great idea and extension! Super work and thank you! Your company makes great tools! :)
Not working when there is whitespace in the label name. Fix fix fix :)
this is handy extension and makes finding my labels quicker and easier. one thing i noticed is if a label has more than one word, the tab is created in Boolean expression. for example i have a label called Bank of America with emails in it. but when i create the tab, it shows as bank+of+america which breaks the label i have setup and does not display the emails with that label. its easy enough to fix by editing the tab, but should this be that way to begin with? oh and one other thing, can you make the tabs match the color of the label?
Okay, the functionality that this extension offers should have been part of Gmail from day 1. Thanks CloudHQ. I love it!
Just what I've been looking for. Being able to create tabs on the fly from custom queries and renaming the resulting tabs is awesome. The only thing I'm missing is a post-fix for each tab indicating how many messages match the given tab's query. Something like: 'Urgent (42)'. Any chance of adding an option to display counts per tab?
I'm getting a LOT of use out of this extension, and it definitely works as advertised. But. :-) It would be EVEN BETTER if there were a way to export/import your tab definitions, for those of us reading mail on several different machines. Setting them up over and over is kind of a drag. Worth it! But still a drag.
I just installed a few minutes ago, so cannot yet verify that all works as intended all the time, but so far this looks great! And instead of using several Inboxes, as seen from this link, it is so much better to use saved searches as Tabs! https://www.howtogeek.com/366260/group-your-gmail-inbox-by-date-like-google-inbox-did-and-outlook-does/ Examples of what I use: Tab display name: "Unread" Search query for this tab: is:unread Tab display name: "Today" Search query for this tab: newer_than:1d label:inbox is:read Thank you!
