Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

This app is very handy, I have over 1000 bookmarks filed away; and whenever I've got 30 tabs open from whatever I was researching/working on, it's nice to stack them all in one tab for later. I usually keep one browser window with tabs per topic and am frequently working on several different things. It's nice to be able to temporarily stash one window to cut down on the clutter/ram usage. All this app does (or ever claims to do) is save a URL on a page (like a bookmark...), it does not keep your page state (filled in forms, sessions, etc) nor does it save the tab's history. When you restore a page from OneTab, it will be as if you just came from a new tab. It also doesn't pick up your clothes after you, so if you can't keep your floor clean, maybe give it one star so the publisher can come clean your room. If you are looking for an app that can save separate browsing history, page state, sessions, etc, then the app you want is Chrome; it has this feature called a tab that lets you keep separate browsing history and page state for each browser window you have open.

Chrome recien iniciado con OneTab activado me consume 454480 KB. Firefox recién iniciado con Firefox Ultimate Optimizer (que ocupa 2276 KB)activado, consume solo 3228 KB. No veo en que aliviana el programa. Debo aclara que ambos tienen instalados complementos similares.

Thanks a lot. Well done great job, team! Could you add a multicolumn list layout (2/3 columns) for large monitors and action bar at footer looks like classic midnight commander or far manager interface?

I never took the time to rate an extension until now. If I could only have one extension it would be a toss up between this and last pass

Excellent addon. Just awesome and nothing less! Really worth 6* out of 5... Please make a button-menu like in AdBlock and ZenMate! Thank you!

Quite handy and definitely saves memory. Feature request: Please add an option to start OneTab itself as a pinned tab if possible. I think it would be visually cleaner.
