Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Great! Especially when you have numerous tabs open in your browser at the same time.

In addition to saving memory, I opened the 8 tabs that were my "HomePage", collapsed them into OneTab, named the group "Home Pages", and locked it. Then I made OneTab my only homepage in the browser. Now, when I open my browser, all that opens is OneTab. That way I can click on the tab(s) I need at that moment -- or, open some other page without waiting for 8 tabs to load! I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 on a Dell laptop with an Intel Centrino Duo and 2gb of physical memory -- an 8 year old machine, and OneTab has really been a life-saver in terms of memory use.

I don't give out many 5/5 ratings... However this is an amazing extension. Previously I used SessionBuddy, but slowly this has became my new favorite tab saver. Once I learned that it would save my tabs/labeled groups even if I exited Chrome, I realized I could use it for more than saving memory. I now use this to constantly save, label, and store tabs or groups of tabs, not because I have to save my memory, but because it's easier and faster than bookmarking them all. Suggestions: Allow right-click option to open a saved group of tabs in a new window. Right now it's a setting that applies to everything, but I'd like to decide when to open in a new window or the current tab. Thank You!
