Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Just brilliant. Lightweight, effective, and best—every time I've thought, "Hm...I wonder if OneTab could do *this*..." I've found that yes. Yes it can. Love it!
I don't question whether others have had the problems that they have. I consider myself lucky to have avoided them... That said - I feel like using this app was a little bit like jumping from my BlackBerry to my iPhone in terms of functionality. I open SOO many tabs when I'm working on certain, specific work tasks, or even just shopping for something and wanting to keep something open (rather than bookmarking something I'm probably not going to need again). Suddenly you've got 25 tabs open...they're now too small to identify again without clicking on every one, and...you need to run and do something else, secure in the knowledge (esp if you're using Windows) that it will almost certainly crash when you wake your computer back up, etc. Having a single button to push that will save them all instantly is just...satisfying. More "crucially" though - I love using it to back down the amount of memory I'm using. As with using so many tabs, I often need to have 6 or more applications open and running on my machine at the same time. Being able to shrink down the amount of memory my browser is using -- without losing quick access to what I had open, is extremely valuable.

I love this extension. Only thing missing is keyboard shortcuts (most important: send current tab to OneTab)
It brings me dramatically closer to being an effective and productive member of society. It's usefulness goes FAR further than its description and purpose imply. This extension is brilliant, and frankly, Google itself should buy it from the devs for a great sum of money. If you are not using this, well, shame on you. As I am using a 10-year-old system that is now being rebuilt on a rolling basis, OneTab makes Chrome USABLE while running on only 2GB RAM.
