Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

How do "I manually" create sections to put tabs in? Are all the sections created automatically only?? I have changed my review from 5 stars to 3. This is primarily because (1) this extension has no updates since the first time I used it 4+ years ago. (2) You can't join 2 or 3 sections into 1, unless you do it manually - that seems too simple not to have. (3) When you export, it merges everything into 1 list - so when you import, you have only 1 section. Suggestions! A - It would be great if the extension grouped the tabs from the same domain or subdomain. B - As an "option", it would be nice to have a thumbnail with the links it gathers. Maybe one that displays when you hover over the links in sections that you "enable" this option, in the "More" menu.
What a productivity booster. Makes managing all my tabs so much easier. To be able to lock a set of tabs in onetab and have them available as a group all the time is perfect. There are so many great features it is amazing!

It is useful....when it works correctly. It often resets Chrome to a default blank tab upon next day restart overruling the chrome setting to use last tabs and the export\import doesn't work at all despite 15-20 tries.

serves my purpose well. Use it on Firefox too. Session Buddy and Toby are also fantastic tab extensions that have similar functionality to OneTab. But I prefer OneTab, which totally lacks the slickness of Session Buddy and Toby, for the following reasons. - can create webpage with saved tabs to share with other PC/devices/cloud. I import it into Evernote, and I can just scan the QR code with my smartphone. AFAIK no other extension can do this. - can save links (not just opened tabs). - saved tab shows full page name (or link URL) with icon. - quickly save all tabs into OneTab with one click. - Extension itself is light on memory, and is essential for my puny Atom-powered PC.
