Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

A simple, powerful tab manager
Same as Toby, but not on the new tab. Organize your browser tabs and access them quickly anywhere.
I find this so useful! I often get too many taps open and need to sae them for later review. All the options make it very powerful and intuitive.
real helpful to me, thanks a lot. I don't need suffer the Chrome eat too much memory!
Hobbled by the inability to restore individual tab groups. Although you can sort tab into groups all that does is restore them into separate windows, you still have to restore either all tabs in all groups or one tab at a time. This limitation SUCKS. I'd get a lot more use out of OneTab if I could restore one group while leaving all others alone.
This is an extension that I use the most of all Google Chrome extensions. It is very useful and convenient. Firstly, if all of a sudden you find your computer's RAM has been almost completely used up and it is lagging and freezing, simply "zip" all your open tabs with OneTab and it will immediately free up many Megabytes or even Gigabytes of precious RAM. Plus, OneTab acts like a filing system for all your active and used websites and tabs. Excellent! (And as a follow up to Huw Williams' comment, I have never had any problems with tabs/groups of tabs persisting even after closing the browser or rebooting the computer. I never had to lock anything to get that result. I would be glad to share with you tips on how to use it, if you'd like.)
Awesome! It would be nice if the export carried the metadata like the original saving date.
OneTab is more open than other session managers. I love how I can import and export URL's or save the onetab list as a web page
One of my top 3 favorite extensions. I tend to open a ton of tabs when I'm doing research. So to declutter my browser, I use OneTab to save and organize all the websites I intend to read more thoroughly later. It is super easy to use. And so far, I haven't had a problem even with about 300 saved.
Used daily very helpfull keep going
So simple and usefull! Great job guys! :)
Edited (Dec 1, 2018): I have not been able to save any of my precious tabs since Nov 19. And I'm only seeing this now. I've saved all the existing tabs as a webpage and am switching to another extension, hoping this can be resolved in the meantime. Original - Just what I needed. Saves my tabs for visiting later. Fantastic job Dev(s)!
