Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

it's a must have. Everyone should use it because everyone needs it! If you are not using it it's only because you don't know something so useful existed
yes it does clean up ur tabs. it can be a lifesaver. However, dont be too comfortable storing thousands of tabs if you tend to do that. TWICE, has one tab LOST all thousands of my tabs with no *$% solution. If you just need a tab saver for casual use, sure its great but if you leave thousands of tabs with one tab, you will lose all of them - its bound to happen. The first time, when it crashed trying to restart the tabs it wiped half out. 2nd instance when I already successfully imported the new tabs into Torch Browser. SO STUPID. Deleting this extension. I think it could be improved upon if the extension made a hardcopy save onto our desktop or some folder a hard copy /backup with dates so you could access that folder if something goes wrong. If you store thousands of tabs -DO NOT RELY on onetab. its okay for occasional use just not if ur saving many tabs.
This extension deserved a 5 stars.
This is one of those extensions that is invaluable to me. I install it by default on every single instance of Chrome on every platform I have. Work and home - it's great. When I am browsing some sites during my lunch and then realise that my time is up but I still have tabs to read, I just hit OneTab and consolidate them, then click "Share as Web Page..." to allow me to bookmark the list. Then using the synchronise bookmarks feature of Chrome (when authenticated with a Google account and sync enabled) I can then re-open them when I get home of the evening after work. The only feature I would like to see is Selective Consolidation. Here, we can hit Control and click on the tabs we want to collapse. Then we should be able to consolidate JUST those tabs rather than the "all or nothing" heavy-handed approach implemented presently. It would be a nice thing to not have all of my work tabs (JIRA tickets, work webmail, StackOverflow articles, etc) have to be collapsed and bookmarked by OneTab because I am in a hurry. Not only that but my boss will go mad if he thought I was possibly sharing corporate URLs by using thre "Share as Web Page" feature to synchronise my bookmarks - all because I am in a hurry at the end of my lunch and I just want to read some pages later but they are mixed in with work pages and I only want about half of the currently open tabs to be consolidated. Seems like it would be fairly straightforward to implement this feature but I don't know - I didn't write the thing. Get this extension NOW. It will make your life happier. It will make you richer and more handsome too! All for free! Wow!
Useful, simple, handy.
