Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Didn't work for me. I needed something to save all the "state" of the page, looks like it only saves the url.

I'm seeing a preposterous number of reviews downrating OneTab when it doesn't work the way they want it to, instead of exactly the way it says it does. That's absolute nonsense. OneTab does exactly what it says. It's not for persistent tab storage. It's not for saving your session. It's not for saving your history (thank God). It just takes all your currently open tabs and puts them in one place, removing them from memory. That's it - that's all it does, that's all it claims to do. If you need persistent tab storage (I'm not sure why you wouldn't just bookmark something, but whatever), this isn't your extension - try saved(dot)io. If you need your session saved, there's a setting in your bloody browser for that. Stop complaining about an extension not doing something it was never meant to do. It's like complaining that your car won't fly, or your PlayStation 4 won't run LibreOffice. You're doing it wrong. Oy vey.

DO NOT USE THIS EXTENSION!!! This is the first year that I haven't lost all of my tabs from the previous year on January 1st. Yay on them for fixing that, I guess. But I lost hundreds of tabs from 2018 the year before and hundreds of tabs from 2017 the year before. I have completely gone back to using the bookmarks in my browser as OneTab cannot be counted on not to suddenly delete all of it's data without any warning. And support never responds, there has been no way to recover any of the lost information. So don't trust the improvements, because the next time something goes wrong we will all be on our own again, mourning our lost data.

It's a pity so many people slag this app off. Finding this app was an answer to a prayer, to be able keep so many tabs is great so makes my life easier. If I had a wish it would to be able to search all tab groups using a single word, and be able to select what I needed, how ever many and bring them into a blank ''page'' for want of a better word. What would be super cool would be to be able to transfer all the, and believe me there are hundreds of saved pages and sites under hundreds of folders, Now that would be impressive !!!!
