Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

The inability to change to dark mode is disappointing. From a developer standpoint, it is exactly one line of code in one page. By adding "background-color: #000000" in the body tag of the onetab.css you have dark mode. However given Chrome's validation checks for extensions, if the user attempts to change it then a rage quit occurs. That verification is important to prevent corruption from nefarious scripts/apps/users. Dark Reader (and equiv.) cannot access other extension pages (designed this way for reasons listed above). If, like me, you are unable to enable dark mode globally from chrome flags, you are stuck with two alternatives: Complain in this space and wait for an update to push a fix, or go the dev mode and copy, modify, strip keys, unpack, and redeploy. I've decided to on both the former and latter solutions. Fix. This. Please.

Needs Dark Theme.
This extension is very useful as a teacher. I can save groups of tabs by category then email them as a webpage. I just wish the extension would default to a popup instead of closing all the tabs. And the menu should be more clear. The first two options are both called " One Tab". It would be nice if the first said "One Tab Extension Page" or something to that effect.
There is no way to recover tabs when Google crashes. I'm highly disappointed.
You have to remember that this is a tab memory management plug-in NOT a bookmarking tool. At some point a browser update (especially chrome & its derivatives) will update and wipe ALL your saved tabs, locked or not and unless you regularly export these bookmarks from within onetab then they WILL be lost forever and you will curse your own laziness. It's a great plug-in for managing lots of open tabs but it cannot be relied upon as a bookmarking tool.
Excelente extension, mi navegador preferido es lejos Mozilla y como secundario Chromium, Brave o Opera y en todas ellas funciona impecable, felicitaciones.
This extension *WAS* one of my most important productivity-enhancing tools for several years. It became my central organizing tool to keep track of multiple chains of inter-related links. A life-saver for day-to-day web surfing, researching, etc. But, for reasons as yet unclear to me, OneTab rather abruptly ceased supporting my tabs. I tried reducing the count, reloading them from scratch...you name it. As good as useless and inaccessible. I'm now looking for a replacement ext. Wish me luck. "Free" got me what "free" usually gives. Nothing.
