Pure love. When I first heard about it, my library system wasn't included. I filled out their form to add it and thought it might get added in a few days, if I was lucky. I think it was the same day and no later than the next day. I haven't used it that long but it seems so seamless when browsing Amazon, B&N, or GR. There are a lot of books that I might want to read but don't necessarily want to buy and now I don't have to make the hard decisions or wait for it to go on sale. Instant gratification!
Excellent! I have recommended it to all my connections on LinkedIN.
Very handy and useful. Saves a lot of time that would be wasted looking in library for a book.
I love using this extension while I'm adding materials to my to-be-read (TBR) list on Goodreads or when researching materials for school on Amazon. I have linked this extension with my local library system, their Digital Book collection, and my university system (OhioLink). In this way, I can use the extension for personal books as well as school books. It's already saved me a great deal of searching time and money as I remember to look for school books through the library before buying them. This is a great option when you're looking at books on Amazon that might be of interest. You can discover books that are already available that you can begin reading right away instead of filing the book away on your TBR list that you might forget about for months or years!
This is a great tool, very helpful to let you know right away if the library has the book or not.
Fantastic! Lets me see if a book is handy at my local library right away instead of a manual search later on. And as others have mentioned, that often allows me to recommend it to the local library as a purchase.
This extension is very helpful and takes you to your library's website where, in our case, let's you reserve the book. I can decide if a book is a quick read and available or something I want in my personal library or will need time to read--which means a purchase. THANKS!
I love this extension. Between looking for things on Amazon/Goodreads and requesting books from my library, I am saving so much time and money. My two minor complaints: Titles don't always match (or formats) between Amazon and the library system, and I wish this extension worked on FictFact as well since I use that more to find new series.
It says that my library doesn't have a book, or the book is unavailable, but when I check the library website, my library DOES have the book and it IS available. The idea behind the Library Extension is brilliant, the actual usefulness when it reports false info is none.
I just need for my local library system to start using this extension. It's a great idea.
