Used for a long time. I'm addicted to youtube and this extension makes the experience much more pleasing. Practically is as essential as some form of adblock. Some options are limited unless you upgrade, but this is very tolerable. For me these options aren't major at all. Could use a few more options, like auto-enabling the subtitles(even if those are auto-generated), or make so the player(timeline, etc) doesn't auto-hide. Could integrate the features from "Ratings Preview for YouTube™" extension(which then could be limited, because if someone doesn't want to pay then they can just install a separate extension to get those features for free - but I didn't tell you that, tchhhh).

Very slow development for such important extension. New youtube was out for at least 3,5 months. the developers of this extension they should have made it ready for final release of new youtube. but they didn't. I am going to uninstall it.

It was great until recently. For some reason I can no longer get the dark skin to work. Is this something I am doing wrong or is the new version of YouTube incompatible? Looking into it, it seems there might be some incompatibility with uBlock Origin and this extension. Any idea what I can whitelist to fix it? Will change to 5 stars when I get it fixed because I love the extension.

Best extension for choosing your resolution automatically and having the video set to widescreen automatically as well. Youtube did recently change there websites design so the dark mode doesn't work but should in the future I suppose as long as the devs work on it.

I love everything about it, except that it auto-pauses every video. Is there a setting that turns this off? I know it's improvedtube doing this because I don't have any other extensions enabled, and youtube doesn't pause it with IT disabled

Extremely buggy since update. Player Window size is all wrong. Either video gets cropped or its tiny in the window.

the videos are still downloaded in the background i want the videos not downloaded please help this extension is amazing but if you can make the videos not downloaded completely it will be perfect

This extension is everything I want in a youtube extension. But it is currently working incorrectly with the new (Sept 2017) Youtube redesign. This addon needs to obey the new design, also needs to work better with YouTube's new built-in Dark Mode -- ImprovedTube's Dark Mode no longer needed in my opinion. Thanks!
