ive used this extension for years now, since it is one of the many extensions one needs to make youtube like it was in the old days. no recommended, no ads, and just a more pleasant youtube experience overall without the garbage. its wonderful you can just customize youtube to your liking with a beautiful black background and none of the junk they try to throw at you.
Makes YouTube experience much better!
