At DuckDuckGo, we believe the best way to protect your personal information from hackers, scammers, and privacy-invasive companies is to stop it from being collected at all. That's why millions of people choose DuckDuckGo over other browser extensions to protect their searching and browsing. Our built-in search engine is like Google but never tracks your searches. And our browsing protections, such as ad tracker blocking and cookie blocking, help stop other companies from collecting your data. Oh, and our browser extension is free — we make money from privacy-respecting search ads, not by exploiting your data. Take back control of your personal information with the browser extension designed for data protection.

Excellent extension. DuckDuckGo is by far the best search engine available. It is far superior to all others in its practices and visual appeal, and has safe search features which actually work (in contrast to Google's safe search, which doesn't block anything). I much prefer this to the default Google search engine and can rest assured that personal information and browsing history will not be collected and processed without my consent. Thank you for all your hard work, DuckDuckGo team. I look forward to using DuckDuckGo for many years to come! #ComeToTheDuckSide!
Very good however, this takes away the "search by image" function on chrome. I would appreciate a "search by image on duckduckgo" function
This is great for research. I use it whenever we have to get info on a certain subject for school. Duckduckgo will eventually overtake Google, I know it.

Great APP DUCK DUCK GO everybody should have it, give it a burl!!!
I use DGG for about 1/2 of my searches. However, the browser will mysteriously generate results that have almost nothing to do with my query and I am forced to google instead to find what I'm looking for (usually within the first five results). This is the only downside to DDG, but it is significant enough that I can't completely abandon Google.
This is like 3 of my chrome extensions in one... Not bad at all
The maps, are so, so, so bad. It's almost impossible. I would love if they could make it so you could add links to under the search bar, and make some kind of duckduckgo search bar to replace googles.
mycket bra
