At DuckDuckGo, we believe the best way to protect your personal information from hackers, scammers, and privacy-invasive companies is to stop it from being collected at all. That's why millions of people choose DuckDuckGo over other browser extensions to protect their searching and browsing. Our built-in search engine is like Google but never tracks your searches. And our browsing protections, such as ad tracker blocking and cookie blocking, help stop other companies from collecting your data. Oh, and our browser extension is free — we make money from privacy-respecting search ads, not by exploiting your data. Take back control of your personal information with the browser extension designed for data protection.

Using the Brave browser? Using Windows 10? If your answer is Yes to BOTH of these questions, for the love of God, DISABLE THIS EXTENSION IN PRIVATE MODE. Why? Because when you open an incognito/private window (again, this is only happening in Windows 10, and the Brave browser specifically) and want to search for something from the title bar, you type your search term, you hit enter, and the browser crashes completely. Period. I tried to do this from Kali Linux too, and this wasn't a problem there. It's only happening in Windows 10.
Amazing and EVERYONE NEED IT!
Es excelente, para los que dicen que no te permite cambiar de buscador, están mintiendo, en la configuración lo puede hacer facilmente.

I feel much more safe with this browser app. I thought information on topics I was searching for recently caused a break in the image context search for "Search Google for Image". It's only missing when using this extension and when it's set to the default Search Engine. When I disable it and revert back to Google, everything works normally. I hope someone can get that fixed. But this is a great browser. I love it.
Let me choose my default search engine please.
Love Duck Duck Go. When I originally used google I had a hard time trying to find creditable websites fir school projects as most were just filled with ads, but this really helps eliminating those websites and finding useful ones. It is especially useful when trying to block or recognize ads that would normally clickbait me into using the website as I would normally not use if I new more about it. I'd give DDG 10/10, it's helped me so much.
due to chrome/youtube/google is doing more and more evil. i planned to replace chrome. but duckgo helped me continue use chrom. and now i start try seaching with duckgo, it's better, it does not like google, decide let me see this or not let me see other that don't want me know. i wish duckgo one day will totoally became the 1st place in seach area.
Duck Duck go is a great search engine. First of all it doesn't track you, Google has all your data stored in servers. Another reason is that it's unbiased, It shows everyone's opinion on subjects. Google only shows what it wants you to see. Overall great app!
Simple, convenient, absolutely fantastic app. Sometime i m scared to see the number of blockers ( It reaches upto 200 ) most of them are from Big 4 tech firms ( GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, ADOBE etc.) I just have one Issue the app some sometime hangs ( I have to restart the app ). Else everything is awesome. keep up the good work. With app like this I m never switching back to google.
