Tiny Suspender will automatically suspend/hibernate background tabs for you, greatly reducing overall system resource usage without you having to take any action. You can set how long to wait before suspending idle tabs and configure a whitelist to exclude certain pages from automatic suspension.
Features:
- Form Detection: Tiny Suspender will try to detect active forms to avoid automatically suspending page with unsubmitted data
- Audio Detection (optional): prevent autosuspending tabs that play music in the background.

One of the best I've tried. There are a bunch of this available online, and since the fall of "The Great Suspender", all of them are kinda of the same (but not quite). This in particular works very well due it's simplicity and low maintenance. Hope it keeps that way!
Great extension, migrated from Great Suspender (rip) and I can't find anything to complain about this extension!
Thank to this awful thing i lost all the data on the page i was working on. It reloaded page and pufff, all you data on that page lost.

Have used it for about 3 weeks, works fine, restored fine even when my pc crashed and had to hard reboot.
I was looking for an alternative for The Great Suspender and this one does the job just fine, I'm not experiencing any problems on the newest version of Brave (1.20.110). I would like to be able to set a shortcut to suspend only the active tab of my active window, though, like the "Suspend This Tab" option in the context menu. The "Suspend active tab" shortcut suspends the active tab of all my open browser windows.
Moved from "The great suspender" and i think "Tiny suspender" is not just great alternative of TGS but it is better for performance side. Since TGS perform kind of a "Reloading tab" job on opening chrome, TGS takes some times for opening chrome. So if you are like me, having a bunch of tabs like 800+tabs, you can actually feel the difference.
Came from The Great Suspender, I like being able to suspend when I CHOOSE TO, not automatically. Good replacement!

Great extension. Migrated from The Great Suspender after they found a malware in it. Hoping this never happens here. So far I like it. Thanx TS developer!
