We need more detailed information on each painting like year, art movement, techniques and maybe a little bio of the artist. Overall a good extension but it could be better.

Recently the extension started randomly crashing new tab process. For user it looks like newely opened tab quickly disappears right after creating it. Quite annoying :(

Provides cultural enrichment by showing a beautiful artwork each time a user opens a new Chrome tab, replacing the default new tab page

Extension overrides Chrome's new tab page (chrome_url_overrides). Background service worker fetches artwork data JSON from gstatic.com/culturalinstitute/tabext/imax_2_2.json and caches it. When user opens a new tab, the newtab page renders a curated artwork with title, artist name, and attribution. User can click 'Change' button to rotate artwork, click artwork description to visit Google Arts & Culture for details, or use settings to toggle top sites/apps buttons and artwork rotation frequency.
