📢 February 2026: Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
This extension lets you display and manage tabs vertically in the browser sidebar, supports light and dark themes and search functionality.
2023/12/21 Update: Support Tab Groups, including collapse/expand a group, drag and drop a group and context menu (i.e. right-click) on a group.
Two Ways to Open the Extension Sidebar:
1. Click the Extension icon. You need to "Pin" the extension to the browser toolbar.
2. Use shortcut keys. Please set it at "chrome://extensions/shortcuts" by yourself, the default is Alt+V .

First line on top of the browser should be the address bar not all the tabs. I don't want a shortcut to horizontal tabs. Seems that Firefox is way ahead of Chrome.

The sidebar is too wide for smaller screens, it needs a lower minimum size (or none as all).
I'm satisfied with the functionality. However, I'd like to request a change in the specifications regarding the GPU memory usage shown in the task manager when both of the following are true: * **Graphic acceleration** is turned off in Chrome's options. * The **--disable-gpu** launch option is added to Chrome.
"Vertical Tabs in Side Panel" is the fastest Vertical Tabs I've ever tried, with over 1000 tabs it's still fast. Please add an option to disable scroll to active tab after drag drop a tab.
Why on earth would you include an animation for opening the side-bar and not make it optional? My browser window starts shaking when I open this; I really don't know why everyone loves making their life harder...
very handy tool to keep hundreds of tabs in one window and manage them on the side in separate groups, its a nice workflow problem is , it closes a tab if double clicked on it , which is very frustrating . !! also , after a week use, noticed chrome doenst put any tabs to unused anymore, I suspect this extension has somethign to do with it !!! I wish it had a feature to put all the tabs outside of group to a new group , would make the experience even better
