Works great, thanks
can't get rid of F1..That's a bummer but I can disable other shortcuts like ctrl+D with this so it's great. Many thanks.
Does what it says on the box! 🙂 Just make sure you paste 'chrome://extensions/shortcuts' into the address bar first! And then you can set the shortcuts to disable! 👍
The page comes up but I can't type anything into the "Not Set" box.
I need to disable Alt+[ and Alt+] so that they are seen by my underlying app. I've read that this extension works for some Alt+ and Ctrl+ combinations but not all. Presumably, the two keys I need disabled are in the "not all" category. The name "Disable Keyboard Shortcuts" suggests (to me) a broader usage case than it actually covers. I appreciate that you are at the mercy of the OS, but someplace in the description you could list the actual shortcuts you can disable (e.g., Alt+A to Z and Ctrl+A to Z) so as to be more transparent rather than making the users activate the extension and be frustrated by not being able to disable their desired keystrokes. Also, please make it clear whether or not "disabling" allows the keystroke to be passed on to an underlying app or it is just dead.
Doesn't even work for the MOST COMMONLY hated shortcut - Shift+Enter. SO many times have I hit that on accident while working and it completely interrupts what I am doing by opening a new page. And this shortcut can't even get rid of it. Useless.
great, but i have to go to settings of browser chrome://extensions/shortcuts :)
WORKS GREAT EVERY SHORTCUT WORKS ITS REALLY GREAT
