TL;DR This is another one of those used to be great and then developer went to the darkside extensions. Ruining what was once great extension. Still pleads for donations while making money off the malware and stealing your system resources like malware bitcoin miner.... If I could give it less than one star I currently as of July 2020 I would, where it would have been 4-5 stars in 2017 & 2018.... If you install this expect, Constant pop ups which try to trick into downloading more malware from them. I disabled this extension "Magic Actions For Youtube" to see if it was causing the Chrome browser to run slow and/or was the reason causing Chrome to take absurdly long to close. The Answer to both of those was yes. I have had the extension shut off but still installed, while waiting to verify if the problems caused by it changes with my computer and the Google's Chrome browser with disabling it. The sad answer was yes , this extension has gone rogue. Ether it was bought by dirty company for the active installed user base, which most developers hope to hit it big and sell their extensions to companies. After all everyone likes making money and with that comes recognition of "I sold my previous extensions for X amount", on a resume. Meanwhile the developer/programmer burns every user and former loyal user who had installed their extension and trusted them. We were nothing but a "mark (victim of criminals and/or shysters) and deserved are being duped into trusting some anonymous extension to stay clean and for the updates to actually be security and bug patches, not downgrades of installing hijacking malware. If I could give this a lower grade than 1 star I would, before this rogue in early-mid 2019, I would have highly praised this for the features. But the constant pop ups (seriously is there anyone out there other than malware and scareware tactic "Black Hat" programmers who like and/or use them? The rest of the population hates them. No decent company and/or program has used "Pop Ups" and "Pop Unders" since the early to mid 2000's. Sad to see such a former great extension & originally programmer & developer fall prey to greed & corruption. Guess all those donations , 'Buy Me a Cup of Coffee" and/or "Patreon " cash influx wasn't enough, too bad you can't get refund on those for being swindled. There is say you get what you pay for and if on the internet if it's free you are the product being sold standard warnings. There are plenty of apps that buck this trend by people who want to make the internet a much better and safer places, with less annoyances. Which isn't the case with this extension nor the 20+ dirty malware other ones they try to trick you installing outside of google's store system. Google's store might not be great but at detecting and stopping rogue apps but they at least keep the worst of the worst coded malware and viruses out of the basic extension before updates. Most people just uninstall and don't bother to write out review pay attention to those of that write out longer reviews than the short "this is the best product every 5 star reviews" from bots, ether from computers infected by this extension's programmer's other malware and/or from bot nets they rented for the products. Even the account names should give you a clue to how fake and sock puppet astroturfing they are.....

The new MagicAction button location is STUPID. Volume control is unstable, Auto HD doesn't work, pop-ups are awful. The developer just won't listen to feedback and keep spamming the comment section. Now switched to Enhancer for YouTube, same features, no ads, no pop-ups, its just better.

При использовании постоянно самопроизвольно открывается страница их сайта mycinema.pro с рекламой. Настройки можно сделать, только открыв их сайт (тоже с рекламой), и только там есть маленький неудобный фрейм с настройками программы. Соответственно в оффлайне настройки плагина поменять нельзя, а в онлайн - крайне неудобно. Теперь еще после очередного обновления при полноэкранном воспроизведении все время вверху их белый тулбар торчит постоянно, и из-за какого-то их бага он не убирается. И теперь часть изображения в полноэкранном режиме съедается белой полосой тулбара, она сильно бросается в глаза при просмотре. Когда-то очень давно это было хорошее расширение без всплывающей рекламы и с нормальными настройками, а теперь шлак ниже плинтуса. Попробую заменить на расширение "Improve YouTube!", по описанию оно лучше, и на гитхабе есть исходники. Лимит терпения исчерпан.

every time i start browser it popup to tell me i have newest version, plus after some times it open new tab and spam me to update browser. no options to turn this spam, uninstalling it!
