Youtube has become very fast.
Was great for several years, now its popups, potential malware.
It was great until I started getting bombarded with pop-ups, too bad, will look for something else
This thing can't hide annotations or lock videos to the resolution I choose (I have 480p selected, and still I had videos running on 240p with this extension on). Not to mention it pestering me to update Chrome when Chrome can auto-update. It's not too bad, but I really can't see how this has a near 5-star average.
It's an absolutely fantastic extension but the developer ruins it with annoying ads for other extensions and occasional popups.

BE CAREFUL! Invasive pop-ups trying to get you to install malware extensions via click-baity messages saying that your Chrome browser needs to be updated. Sad. I had donated before, and would be glad to pay for this extension, but they just lost my trust. Removed.
This extension obstrusive ads for an "update checker" offered by the same company. The second I uninstalled it, the popups stop, so it is 100% for sure this app.
As others have noted, THIS EXTENSION IS NOW ESSENTIALLY LOADED WITH MALWARE! It forces fake pop-ups that send users to scams and malware.
pop ups? seriously ? uninstalling. good luck with your BSware
