I really love this extension, HOWEVER... It now keeps trying to create a pop up linking to a fake malicious site that says to update Chrome. My browser is completely up to date! I'm going to remove this extension and look for something else that won't act suspiciously. Please AVOID THIS EXTENSION as it has become malware for your browser! Look for alternatives. (If anyone has any alternate suggestions, PLEASE reply!)
Keeps giving me a pop-up saying that my browser is outdated. This used to be a great extension but it seems like it become a malware...
The pop-ups were so problematic, I had to come and write a review about it (my first ever). Was a great extension, am now uninstalling it.
This used to be one of my favorite Chrome extensions for years. It had, and has a lot of features that really customize YouTube in a lot of cool ways. Then they decided to put some Malware looking popup that occurs at random, warning that my Chrome is out of date. Couple problems with this. My Chrome is not out of date, for one. For another, if I wanted an extension to remind me to update Chrome, I would get an extension for that. Are you looking into extensions that modify YouTube because you want Chrome update notifications? I highly doubt it. It honestly looks like the extension has been infected with Malware, but I will never know because I have no intention of clicky that super fishy popup. This extension has lost all my faith. I am uninstalling and running antivirus and antimalware scans.

Unwanted popups violate Google's Single Purpose Policy for extensions and should be reported.
