This is amazing, works in chrome and firefox (so learn it once and use it everywhere). when jdownloader2 failed to get simple links from archive.org that was literally a page full of direct links (probably because of the plugins/scraping its trying to do), so i looked for something else and found this. love that you can add filters and see the changes instantly and just download the files you want, its quick and easy. for the people giving low ratings is unreal. its 3 clicks (plus write a directory name and add say .zip in extensions) <--- lol.... how hard is that, you should see the rate jdownloader adds links, this SMD chrome extension gets the links roughly instantly!!!! Keep up the great work. PS: little slowdowns when ending one DL and starting another.... like momentary browser freezes but not to bad. hope this can be resolved (i have all anti virus turned off and im using SSD on sata 3)
Works! But not completely. The number of seconds to wait between downloads in not working at all!
I just added this extension. Immediately I was impressed by the friendly user interface, the custom filtering options, the relatively straight-forward General Options and the ability to quickly download files. On this occasion, I didn't have too many files to download from a webpage, but they were large files. Doing them one by one, I often have to wait on the chrome dialog box to save my files. (Of course, I changed my Downloads settings to a new folder and not to prompt me before saving each file). I will recommend this extension to others who have the need for bulk downloading. My days of right clicking and save image/file/target might be over! I need to read all the documentation details, but I am curious if there are any keystrokes to use the extension. I try to avoid using my mouse as much as humanly possible (for speed/efficiency purposes). Between OS keyboard shortcuts and application (chrome) keyboard shortcuts, I suppose I don't use too many keyboard shortcuts other than those native to chrome. MANY KUDOS to this developer! Thank you for sharing a wonderful non-monetized tool. I can't stand the chrome extensions that are listed as "free," but actually require you to create an account or sign up for a service. Until finding this extension, I haven't come across a tool or extension that so cleanly and quickly downloads files. FANTASTIC WORK! At first look, this looks to be a useful extension. My expectation was that it would be able to follow the link and get a picture from that link. As a test I popped over to a web comic's archive page. The program offered to download each link as a htm file. So if everything you want to download is on one page you are golden. This extension will do awesome for you. If the page of links connects to a web page with the download, this will be less useful.
