This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

I love the feature which (as I am learning French) enables me to listen to the machine voice reading a sentence in the pop-up window (usually available for just a few words, a sentence, not more), but it is so hard to click on the very center of the loudspeaker icon to actually launch the voice generator. I am sure this can be improved so that clicking anywhere on the icon would launch the voice generation, just like on the original GT site.
Not stable !! I am using on edge browser
Is there a mechanism to stop you from listening too much so not every time you click that speaker icon it gonna speak immediately? Did you put a random to speak function in it? There were times that I clicked 9 times it spoke, 1 time spoke and 3 times spoke, and sometimes the speaker icon just disappeared completely not until hours later it reappeared. Is that for the saving of the computing power?
Just opens a new tab. You can do the same with bookmarks

La version popup après sélection est pratique. Malheureusement, on ne peut sélectionner qu'une phrase (jusqu'au point). Donc on ne peut pas sélectionner d'un coup un petit paragraphe. C'est dommage.
The application is mostly stable. However, files such as pdf that I open with chrome are not supported by this extension for translation. When will there be support for files like pdf? Or will it come?
