This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

NOTE: Please do NOT try this extension to translate this page or other pages on https://chrome.google.com/extensions. It does not work because Chrome does not allow extension gallery pages to be scripted.
UPDATE(v1.2): Now you can change the extension options to enable automatic translation or prevent the banner automatically popped up for specified languages and web sites.

useless/ no in-page popups. just redirects to google.translate website.

Used to work really well in Chrome. Pages would be automatically translated to your set language. But for the last few months this no longer works. Instead I have to manually click to translate... this is time wasting and frustrating. I have chrome set to translate pages in languages I don't read, which is what all "help pages" for this problem say to do. It makes no difference.
It said data like da-tuh, and not day-tuh it sucks
Does NOT Auto Translate webpages,... I have to constantly click the extension to translate pages. I'm not sure if this is because of I'm using the BRAVE Browser or what, but this Translator could be designed much better,
