This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

мне понравилось,у меня ноут с подключенной клавиатурой,выделяешь текст и появляется значок перевода,жмешь и перевод готов,появляется маленькое окошко рядом с текстом, в нём вверху исходный текст внизу перевод

不要再把要翻譯的原文預設為使用者的語言，那我要翻譯個極霸，真是謝謝你把我需要翻譯的英文定義為使用者語言等於根本沒翻譯，還要每次手動調整設定，而擴充的設置頁面甚至是一些沒人會在意也沒有人需要的選項，真是非常方便的擴充功能讓我每次需要重新開啟別的翻譯工具並提醒貴部門設計的擴充基本上就是浪費記憶體的一坨

Work just like usual. People says it's only opens new tab now, but it's not true: you steel can click on appearing icon when highlighting text on page and see pop-up. Maybe they broke it with adblocker extension or something else. It steel don't translate large chunks and entire pages, but for page translation you just can use built in Chrome/Brave/Vivaldi translate. Работает как обычно. В отзывах говорят, что теперь открывается только новая вкладка, но это неправда: при выделении текста на странице можно нажать на появляющийся значок и увидеть всплывающее окно. Возможно, они сломали его расширением для блокировки рекламы или чем-то ещё. Он все так же не переводит большие фрагменты и целые страницы, но для перевода страниц можно использовать встроенный переводчик Chrome/Brave/Vivaldi.
It used to be THE greatest translator out there but Google did a Google and ruined it! In the good ol' days one could highlight any piece of text and the always-handy-never-obtrusive pop-up window offered a quick, accurate translation - with sound an all! Now I'm forced to open a new window, drain RAM (God knows Chrome needs it) and waste some precious seconds doing what should take an instant. I hope whoever thought it was a good move is having a laugh, because I'm not.
