This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

UPDATE(v1.2): Now you can change the extension options to enable automatic translation or prevent the banner automatically popped up for specified languages and web sites.

Can't translate some single words , fix it asaaaap

can't translate some single words, very annoying!
A bug in Google Translate extension. My native language is set to Russian. When I try to translate something consisting of more than one word using the input window (activates by clicking on the extension icon) or the popup, it gives the translation. But if it is one single word, the input window or popup just frezes with no translation. And also the design of the extension is very outdated. Judging by the copyright label, it hasn't been changed scince 2015. The main translation page is not far ahead. It lacks features like dark theme and examples of the word usage. I think it's absurd, that Google, arguably the most famous and well-known corporation in the world realy doesn't care about one of it's most used products. Translators like DeepL or Yandex Translator outstand the Google one by many factors, such as Ul design and even by translation result. Please focus on user convinience, not revenue.
There is a problem! No translation occurs.
Очень нужное расширение!! Но, по всей видимости, не поддерживается с 2015 года! Иногда перевод не работает вовсе. Давно уже пора возобновить поддержку и обновить расширение: исправить технические косяки и сделать новый дизайн.
