This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

This extension worked flawlessly for years but since last week it's broken, it can't translate single words anymore. Using the built in translator of Chrome is slower, requires more clicks (and going through the whole right click options) and the end result is stuck on top right of the page. The Google Translator extension only need one click on the icon that auto pops up when you select a text, and the translation get shown right away on top of the selected word, it's much much better. I really hope Google will fix this since I use it by years and it's a pain to use the browser without it :/

Thanks for this useful product! But Recently, I've faced an issue with black pop-up when trying to translate single word.
It stop working, just show white balloon
The extension stopped working properly a few days ago. If only one world is selected it mostly shows an empty popup box, if two or more words, then it works.
