This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

UPDATE(v1.2): Now you can change the extension options to enable automatic translation or prevent the banner automatically popped up for specified languages and web sites.

Tłumaczy tylko z innych języków na polski, nie można ustawić innego, więc jak chcę coś napisać, to muszę stronę odpalać, a to jest bardziej czasochłonne. Tłumaczenie stron też nie najlepsze. Poza tym, okropny interface.
I'm learning CHINESE now and install Google Translate extension in Chrome in my laptop. So far I found it very useful, however there are some points I need to highlight or suggested: 1. When we highlighted some text it shows the origin and translation, but would be great if it can show the PINYIN as well. 2. Also it would great if I can make flash cards from Google Translate as well. 3. When I highlighted some Chinese words, the pop up show its origin is Vietnamese. Perhaps can check on this. Thank you!
Everything works great! Please add “favorites” so that you can make lists of translations (will help students in their studies) Все отлично работает! Добавьте пожалуйста "избранное", что бы можно было составлять списки переводов (поможет студентам в обучении)

This is a nice tool. This helps me to do my works in day to day life. I usually use this platform to increase my English knowledge and this also helps me with my assignments

失望，在中国chrome的用户也不少啊，翻译这么重要的功能说移除就移除了。
Update July 2024: Sadly, broken now. Great resource ... but in Opera browser at least, the extension requires two clicks to get a whole webpage translated. Would be very nice if there were a preference (or modifier key) that would allow that to be just one-click.
