This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

It's aan okay translator, but clearly automated. I've been using it with GPT to fill in the gaps. Came across ReplyPal, a free plugin that makes GPT translations more accessible, and it doesn't even require registration.

For some reason, on the extension when clicking "Translate This Page" on the top right for Chinese text on a youtube video, it won't translate the title, description or comments on the page... Then I tried reinstalling, still no avail... Then I tried clicking "Show Original" and also clicked "Translate to: English" and reselected "English"... Then it worked... Before I didn't have to jump through all these steps to get the youtube page to translate... Also, tried this with Japanese and Korean text youtube videos (try channels for GQ/AD China, Japan, or Korea) and same thing... only after I did that trick above it fixed it... but some comments or text still don't translate automatically, I think it's broken...

Recently whenever I highlight a line of all Chinese text, it will end up detected as English?? Has been happening for a week plus now, which happens to be the last update
