This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.

The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

5 stars for the functioning one 1 star due to he current issue. I understand that it is now a function which is now somehow integrated into Chrome, but that function does not work as well as this plugin, so please fix this plugin so it would work again. By today this extension is not working anymore.

전에는 웹페이지의 언어가 뭐가됬든 상관없이 사이트의 설정이 영어로 됬있는지 중국어로 되있는지로 판단해서 해석해서 해석이 안됨 그래서 수동으로 해석누르면 해석이 됬음 지금은 수동해석이 막힘 어쩌란거냐 해석도 못하는 번역기를 어따쓰라고

跳转页面加了一行公告："Page translation is now supported natively in Chrome Browser and is no longer supported in the Google Translate extension." -> “Chrome 浏览器现在原生支持页面翻译，而Google 翻译扩展程序不再支持。 ” 又一项服务被谷歌自己玩完了，“谷歌坟场”里又填了一个新丁。大家散了吧。用这个插件不就是为了两个原因： 1. 众所周知，谷歌翻译已退出大陆。但如果你只用浏览器内级别的梯子，还是没法直接用Chrome浏览器的内置翻译——因为谷歌里的大聪明们把这个浏览器内功能设计成在浏览器外也要走流量，所以不开系统级梯子没用！但这个插件没这个鬼问题所以才用它。 2. 这个插件的网页全文翻译和Chrome浏览器的内置的那个不一样！这个插件的网页全文翻译多了个“光标悬浮在已翻译文本上能显示该句的原文”的功能，简直是救命级别的设计！结果现在让“科技界自宫第一人”谷歌给TM整灭绝了！解决方案：要么用系统级梯子，一劳永逸……并不。上述第二条会不会补回来，端看谷歌公公的心情了。要么去Github安装GoogleTranslateIpCheck，此软件可以扫描国内可用的谷歌翻译IP，然后加入hosts文件中。但后者能扫描出来的可用IP越来越少，现在几百条IP里只有一条不是“超时”了，所以说不定哪天就彻底无效了。要么，如果你愿意付费，我找半天只发现有两个插件可以做到显示原文的网页全文翻译：“划词翻译”和“彩云小译”。两者的网页全文翻译功能只有个位数的免费试用次数，划词翻译收费6块/月、52块/年、98块/永久，彩云小译收费19块/月、156块/年、没有永久会员。明显是划词翻译更优。这个价格可以了，但本白嫖党只能说全网都莫得一个免费的双语网页翻译插件，就很离谱。（最后再骂一次，谷歌公公您不愧是科技界最NB的太监。别的公司自宫大概是因为这功能不赚钱，而谷歌自宫大概是为了”割着好玩“——顺便再欣赏下百千万用户集体哀嚎的壮美景象🙄）
