This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

UPDATE(v1.2): Now you can change the extension options to enable automatic translation or prevent the banner automatically popped up for specified languages and web sites.

One of the most useful and helpful extensions for learning languages
GOOD..............
A very good app. It can even live translate emails as you open them on an online email browser like Gmail or Office365! It's incredibly useful There are however a few bugs. 1) The "This page has been translated. [Options] [Show original]" popup often gets stuck on rather than disappearing after a few seconds. Can be annoying when there is a link on the webpage you can't click because it is behind the eternal popup 2) On websites with input sections, i.e. google inbox: When you have a page translating, it works great. However, it tries to automatically translate words you type (always incorrectly, so I know it isn't a feature). It is good that it automatically updates (i.e. when you open an email it translates it for you without having to reload the page) however it would be good to turn off translations of text that you are writing as it doesn't translate it correctly. Also can be quite annoying if you want to read the translated email and type a reply - currently you have to do it in two separate windows or remember what it said. Also, when you turn off the translated version, this continues to happen until you refresh the page. 3) When it translates things in emails it removes all the 'enters / new lines' and so the translated text is an unformated block of text when before it was paragraphs or a numbered list.

I can't get my translate to work, I'm not sure why either, I have to leave what I'm reading it takes me to google translate and I never get my translation done so I just have to delete my read
