I wanted to hide the chat section in my game commentary videos, so this was very helpful. It works perfectly even when the video is displayed in full screen.
Amazing but would love if i could use this in fullscreen
I've reviewed the code of version 0.2 and I can confirm it doesn't do anything fishy at all. It only cares about its rectangles. Works as advertised. I'm glad this exists because another very similar extension was abandoned and doesn't work anymore now. The only thing I miss from that one, is being able to create a rectangle by right-clicking on the page and choosing a context-menu entry added by the extension itself. P.S. it would be nice to be able to resize the rectangle by dragging on any corner and not just the bottom-right one.
