HTML Content Blocker provides a user-friendly interface to quickly block various HTML contents (Script, Style, Image, Object, and Media) on any webpage.
To work with this addon, please open the toolbar popup and press the desired content button (at the top) to block, then reload the tab. This extension has two modes to operate. The first and default mode is Global. In this mode, the addon is active for all domains except those listed in the allow-list table. The other mode is per-domain, where the addon is active only for the domains in the block-list table. To switch modes, please press the toggle button at the bottom-left corner of the interface. To add domains to the allowlist or blocklist table, please navigate to a website, then press the plus (+) button at the bottom footer. Likewise, to remove the domain from the table, press the minus (-) button. Badge icon text shows the number of blocked items for the active tab.
Note: The toolbar popup interface supports dark mode. To switch the interface theme to dark, please press the moon icon on the bottom toolbar.

It appears no longer supported. It used to be very effective. Now video on the Weather Channel can't be stopped unless you use an adblocker. The default settings are on and it grossly interferes with virtually every site. Instead, the default should be to allow sites and blacklist them instead of whitelisting each site (non intuitive logic).
Install extension. Click on `Media` to block videos by default. Hit `+` on all sites that don't spam you with video ads. Chef's kiss.jpg
I had to press two DIFFERENT Write a Review buttons. Extension blocks nothing on youtube!
Quite nice. The people complaining likely didnt watch the short how-to video above. Thanks for creating. A few suggestions for improvement. 1. instead of whitelisting, add the ability to save settings for different websites (this would take care of whitelisting and allow dialing in your experience for diff sites (ie. turn off images for youtube, turn off everything but style for yahoo, etc) 2. some websites like linkedin wont even load if images is turned off - im not exactly sure why but debugging this would be great.
Excellent for limited connections.
The web is unusable without this extension.
You can't block html elements. Useless. Uninstalled.
Great! Chrome can disable images, but not videos, unfortunately. This extension does that as well in its MEDIA tab. Dark mode is the only thing I noticed lacking, please consider adding that as well for the eyes.
Nice block audios auto play !
Very useful, especially when testing websites.
