The best one out of dozens that I've tested.
There should add a function that I can close the auto backup, one of my most important backup were gone cause I thought the auto backup was closed and the backup can stay for longer... :(
Glad it works well for everyone, I had it set to auto back up every 30 minutes and apparently it did not create a backup with the exception of the first time it was installed on 8-25; it is now 9-22 and I closed my browser to restart it assuming my tabs would be backed up and they were not. Useless for me.
Is it Tabs Back&Restore extension, that Google removed/ disabled from the store some time ago? I loved it so much! I've been using it for years until this BS from google happened. But it seems it's the same extension that is now compatible with the new google bs. 5 stars! I does it's job perfectly! Just 2 suggestions for improvements: 1) It would be nice, if possible, to add a feature to export/import backups from the disk. 2) Add a custom saving period OR something longer than 4h. Eg. 1 / 2 / 3 days for example.
Can you add the option to not delete manual backups automatically? I didn't know it does and lost a very important backup, I thought it only deletes auto backups.
Thank you for coping the original. It finally got forcibly removed from my Chrome and I was so upset until I found this.
Malheureusement depuis le changement de nom de l'extension, ne fonctionne plus correctement, ou plutôt automatiquement, car les sauvegarde ne se font plus en automatique. Unfortunately, since the name change of the extension, it no longer works correctly, or rather automatically, because the backups are no longer done automatically.
Seems great. Is it possible to implement a naming a backup feature. That way I can create a few standard configurations and reuse them by name
Actually works. Other extensions have all failed me, including Tab Session Manager (duplicates any windows with a single pinned tab and duplicates all pinned tabs within windows at each restore), Session Buddy (could't restore file:// tabs), Cluster Window & Tab Manager, and Tabs Backup & Restore - they've all completely messed up up my workspace, EXCEPT for this extension. UPDATE: I lost a window of hundreds of tabs due to Chrome not opening it from a previous session, so Vapier saved the maximum number of autosaves (80) of the current session every 10 mins like I set it to do, overwriting the existence of the unopened window. >> It would be nice to have this extension increase the maximum number of autosaves, or even better, keep at least one autosave per day for 30 days for edge cases like this. I want frequent autosaves in hours-to-days timescales, but also keep a few very old session backups.
atleast this thing works for saving session, but can dev implement something like where to put the "session data" on the pc? If this thing only backup locally, I really want to back it up to my NAS so it doesnt easely lost if for some reason the browser reset itself and delete all my data (incl. the extension) by some error, and also the import export function is also needed
