Have been using this for years to cold call students. Simple tool that works perfectly. I like that students can understand that I am using a tool to choose names randomly rather than "picking on" particular students. So much easier than lugging around tubs of popsicle sticks between classrooms. Very quick and easy to add classes and switch between classes.
I think this is a great extension for classroom use. Adding whole lists of names to classes is a simple process that takes just seconds. Switching between classes is even faster. Picking random names with such ease is quick and easy. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I think it could be more engaging and interesting for students if there were some kind of audio or visual effects added. Even without them, though, this extension has been very helpful in my classes.
This function is awesome without doubts. But if only there's voice calling the names instead of just the words appear. That can be so much fun and the students will pay more attention.
I can't write reviews from my school district account but I am loving this extension! So much stuff coming at us at teachers and tech right now. This is easy to use and useful! I set it up and was using it in about 6 minutes for all my high schoolers. Thank you!
