Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

VeritasRx is a Chrome extension that automatically analyzes Amazon supplement, skincare, and haircare product claims against published peer-reviewed scientific literature — and tells you in plain English whether to trust them.

Built by a biomedical engineer at Harvard Business School, VeritasRx gives you an independent, science-backed second opinion that has no incentive to sell you anything.

How it works: when you land on an Amazon health or wellness product page, click the scales icon that appears on the page. VeritasRx fetches real abstracts from PubMed — the US government's database of peer-reviewed medical research — and uses AI to evaluate the product's marketing claims against actual evidence.

Each claim is rated as WELL-SUPPORTED, OVERSTATED, MISLEADING, or INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE, with a plain-English summary for everyday consumers and a detailed claims breakdown with real PubMed citations for anyone who wants to dig deeper.

Note: requires an Anthropic API key to function.
