Fully functioning original Zendesk Quicktab extension ported over from manifest v2. There is a port that is not maintained due to the Zendesk acquisition of Tymeshift and there are issues with the settings popup menu. This fixes that issue for users that want the freedom to toggle the behavior.

Almost perfect, however it prevents access to the "view original" option in tickets which prevents agents from being able to view the original email in a popup as it automatically closes it and tries to make it a tab. If that can be fixed to allow the view original option again, 5 stars.
