A simple extension that will change the visual theme of the New York Times Crossword to match any aesthetic you like, including a dark mode! Use one of the given preset themes, or create your own! Works with the mini and regular crosswords. Now you can solve your favorite puzzles without straining your eyes!

I'm not sure what happened, if NYT changed their classes or what... but the extension no longer works for me.
This is an excellent eye-saver for desktop crossword solvers. If I had any request, it's to allow "shaded squares" in the puzzle to be a separate color from the page color. Currently, changing one also changes the other. This might be a CSS style choice by the web designer, however, so I can work around it.
