Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

We are part of a franchise called Code Ninjas. The franchise recently had some changes to the CRM as well as other platforms used internally and as a result, some of the previous functionalities were not ported over. One of the big changes that occurred was the way our ninjas (students) sign in when they attend their classes. Prior to the change, all the ninjas had a RFID wristband to help them scan in which was really convenient and was very cool for the kids. Unfortunately HQ didn't have the budget to develop that functionality again and decided to abandon it altogether. The new way of signing the kids in required a manual look up on the website which is a step backwards.

Many of the franchisees were disappointed and to be honest, that functionality was a key identity of what Code Ninjas represented. As such, our team wanted to keep that alive and developed the extension to help all the centers with that. The old scanning system was based off of a proprietary platform called FranchiCzar and was run by the previous owner of Code Ninjas. The new/current platform is split between ChildcareCRM and MyStudio where the former handles the CRM functionalities and MyStudio handles the attendance, etc for the ninjas.

The extension leverages both platforms and uses the CRM to help store the RFIDs while MyStudio will communicate through the extension to know which ninja to sign in. Beyond that, the team added an extra reporting functionality for MyStudio to help organize the data in a more effective manner.
