# Overview
* This extension is a helper tool for Cmd+number (macOS) / Alt+number (Windows/Linux) tab-switching shortcuts.
# How it works
* While you hold the Cmd key (macOS) or the Alt key (Windows/Linux), each tab in the current window temporarily displays a numeric prefix such as [1].
* When you release the key, the tab titles instantly return to normal.
* This makes keyboard-based tab switching faster and more intuitive.
