This extension brings back the classic “Search for …” option to the right-click menu. Your search result appears in a new tab with your browser's default search engine.
This extension was created as a simpler and lower-latency alternative to Chrome's new side panel search, for users who prefer results in a separate tab.
When you highlight text on any webpage and choose the option with the magnifying glass, the selected text opens in a new tab with your default search engine.
