The best thing I've ever installed by a long shot.
This did not work for me I use Opera GX and when i installed this it did not get rid of the AI overviews when searching

Lovely, thank you! You say to let you know of something is slipping through: Google recently added a Gemini icon at the bottom center of the edit space in Google Docs. Hovering over it says "Describe any changes you want to make" and other similar prompts. My beef is that the icon sits on top of the text I'm trying to type. If you can make this go away as well I will bow in your general direction. Thanks!

It does properly hide the Google AI, but it also hides the "did you mean" bit that's above the AI, which is an issue if you did not mean what Google assumes you meant, and did actually mean what you typed.
Fantastic! Immediately worked. Using it mostly for Google Search, but it's nice to get rid of the YouTube summary AI. No issues or slowing of the search/browser at all.
