Bring the power of Teams into your Business Central workflow. Open a docked Teams chat panel on any Business Central page so you can discuss orders, invoices or customer records without leaving the app. The extension automatically links you into the correct thread based on the Business Central record, keeping every conversation organized. Behind the scenes it leverages Entra ID single-sign-on for seamless authentication and token refresh, so you stay signed in safely. The UI is inspired by the style of Business Central and Teams, giving you a consistent, native look and feel. You’ll also receive notifications when new messages arrive in threads you’re participating in or when you are mentioned.

Why install? You’ll eliminate app-hopping and keep your context. Clarifications and quick decisions happen faster when you can chat in the same place you view ERP data. Your team gets a single pane of glass for both data and collaboration.

To install, an Office 365 administrator adds Teams Chat for Business Central extension to their browser. The first time they open the chat pane in Business Central, they consent on behalf of the organization to the delegated Microsoft Graph permissions. From that point on, every user in the tenant can install and use the extension without additional consent.

All Graph API permissions are granted as delegated permissions under the signed-in user’s identity; the app itself holds no application-level permissions when consent is given on behalf of the organization.

This third-party extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation.
