Please note to use this extension features, you HAVE to click on the extension icon to activate the "auto text expander" feature on the website you are on. This is to prevent our script from running automatically on all websites you visit.
This protects your privacy and ensures your browsing history/keyboard typing history etc is NOT sent to external third party websites. Other competitor text expander software scripts "run on all websites" and you have to trust them to ensure they are not sending this information back to their servers etc. For our extension, it is impossible for us to track your keystrokes because the software only works when you click on the extension icon.

La nouvelle version de AutoTextExpander est beaucoup moins sympa que les anciennes, car avant, on pouvait mettre les balises HTML pour pouvoir avoir les mots en gras, surlignés, soulignés, etc. Dans cette nouvelle version, on ne peut pas. C'est bien dommage !
Does not work on certain websites

Been using since 2020 but the recent update doesn't work. Please help!!!
Old version and now this new version I keep having issues where it would post from shortcut, and as my work requires translation, or if someone starts typing something it removes and leaves the shortcut instead. v.4.0.0 that was live for past 2 days with new look fixed that and it was amazing. Now this version we are back to same issue. Love the extension, hope you can fix this permanently.
The recent update made the PLAIN TEXTAREA TEST so small that I can't see the whole message. It's no longer working on some of the sites where I was using it before.
For anyone still using this after the update this past June 12, I hope you get to read this review. The devs have reverted the changes and set it back to a working state again. You will lose the existing shortcuts, but at least the extension works fine now. It took me some time to set back up all my shortcuts, but after reinstalling the extension and closing/re-opening Chrome, all is good. You may need to change some permissions and access settings as well.
Since updating to Version 4.1, I have noticed that the extension is no longer functioning properly on many websites where it previously worked without any issues. In addition, the new interface appears less user-friendly compared to earlier versions, making it more difficult to use efficiently.
The extension is not working properly on many websites where it worked before.
Please fix the issues.
