Intelligent Search Assistant using LLMs to provide answers from web pages

Helps users overcome information overload by providing AI-generated answers from search results or arbitrary web pages, increasing productivity.

User searches on Google (or visits any page), the extension injects a small icon near results. Clicking the icon opens a popup where the user types a question. The extension sends the page HTML and question to app.answie.com/api/chrome_extension, receives a streaming LLM answer, and displays it in the popup. On search results pages, it can also display answers directly near results.

The extension code is partially obfuscated/bundled (Vue.js webpack output), making some UI logic harder to trace. However, the key decision-relevant code (background.js, popup.js) was readable. The backend at app.answie.com was not directly inspected, so the full extent of paid features or login requirements on the server side cannot be confirmed from client code alone.
