✨ What it does
Live badge indicator
A tiny number on the extension icon shows the current global Kp index. Gray (quiet) → yellow (unsettled) → red (storm). One glance and you know whether it’s worth stepping outside.
Real‑time push notifications
The second NOAA issues a G‑level geomagnetic alert or the Kp index crosses your threshold, Aurora Alert pops a desktop notification: “Aurora possible—look north!” No more refreshing websites.

Great start for aurora enthusiasts! Just installed the Aurora Alert extension and I’m already impressed. The setup was quick and easy, and the alerts are accurate and timely.
